Mine does this all the time, the orange one. He even lets me rub his belly and doesn’t attack. I think it is because I rubbed his bell once and he didn’t scratch me, and I gave him a treat. ONCE.
Betty White on the other hand (younger black cat) is a wild card, she never bares her belly and I would not trust her if she did! She was attacking a dirty sock she fished out of the hamper the other day...
